moOngy launches in the UK: a new European chapter begins
10/07
ActualidadesThe Group opens its 15ᵗʰ international location with the launch of agap2 UK – a strategic, human, and bold project that stays true to the moOngy DNA.
With the opening of a new agap2 office in Bristol, moOngy takes another step forward in its international expansion. England becomes the 15th country to join the Group’s growing network, confirming a strong ambition: to build a coherent and dynamic European presence. While this new venture is taking root in the UK, it is fuelled by the collective energy and entrepreneurial spirit that have always defined moOngy.
A strategic move for the Group
For Arnaud Maury, CEO of the moOngy Group, choosing the UK was a clear decision:“The UK is one of the most mature and dynamic markets in Europe in our sectors, particularly in energy. It offers a rich and innovative ecosystem, highly agile and perfectly aligned with our DNA.”
The opening of moOngy UK reflects the Group’s ambition to strengthen its proximity to international clients, especially in the energy sector, while consolidating its presence across Northern Europe.“We want to be wherever our clients are innovating and growing,” Arnaud continues.
The Bristol region is strategic, close to Hinkley Point C and at the heart of the UK’s nuclear ecosystem. This new foothold complements a broader international strategy designed as a network of talents, shared values, and long-lasting connections.
An idea born in the field
Previously Head of the agap2 agency in Bagnols-sur-Cèze, a key industrial hub near major nuclear players, Maxence Cachera is leading this new venture:“It’s both an honour and a challenge – and a huge source of motivation. I wasn’t asked to follow a recipe. I was trusted to build something from scratch.”
The project began to take shape alongside Julien Nguyen, Operations Manager for agap2 Méditerranée and now the UK, who supported the early stages:“We sensed there was a real demand in the British market, with client needs that matched what we offer. It was also a great opportunity for a young talent like Maxence to take the lead.”
Together, they mapped the market, connected with local stakeholders, and recruited the first talents aligned with moOngy’s culture.“We didn’t want a copy-paste approach. We built something truly British, but with agap2’s DNA running through it.”
A collective project with a shared ambition
From the start, Julien Cuccaro – Director of agap2 South, Spain, and now UK – has been steering the global strategy. He is helping structure the new office and shares a clear vision with Maxence:“This is exactly the kind of project we want to foster: local initiatives, led by committed teams, that fit into a global momentum. My role is to provide structure, connection, and momentum.”
And connection is precisely what Maxence is aiming to build:“We’ll never be an island – even if we’re in the UK! We want to stay connected, contribute to cross-border projects, and build strong bridges with other agencies.”
A demanding market, but in strong alignment
The British market, known for its rigour and high expectations, demands credible, responsive, results-driven partners. “That’s exactly what agap2 stands for,” Maxence notes.
The first few months will be intense: building the team, launching projects, and integrating into the local ecosystem. “Recruitment will be key, but so will local anchoring. We want to build solid foundations while keeping the agility that makes us strong.”
The ambition is clear: to establish a highly regarded agency, known for the quality of its work, the strength of its team, and its positive impact. “I want people to see agap2 UK as a standout player – one that makes a difference and inspires others,” Maxence adds.
A message to all moOngy talents: the adventure is open
For everyone involved in the project, this launch is far more than just a geographic move – it’s a symbol of our culture: a Group that dares, that trusts, and that provides real space for talent to thrive. “This UK opening is a chance to build, to innovate, to try new approaches,” says Benoît Thouvenin, Director of agap2 France, Italy, Spain & UK. “So go for it. Be bold. Get involved.”
Maxence echoes the same spirit:“This project proves you can be entrepreneurial at moOngy. If you have an idea, a market to explore, or a region to open – just go for it.”
