RB Safety Consultants joins the moOngy Group: strengthening our expertise in critical industrial environments
23/03
ActualidadesThe moOngy Group continues its international development with the integration of RB Safety Consultants (RBSC), a UK-based consultancy specialising in safety advisory, engineering and the management of complex projects. This strategic acquisition strengthens the Group’s expertise in key sectors such as nuclear, energy and defence, while marking a new milestone in its expansion in the United Kingdom.
Recognised expertise in high-risk industries
Founded in 2007, RB Safety Consultants has progressively established itself as a recognised player in high-criticality industries, particularly across the defence, energy and infrastructure sectors.
The company has built its capabilities on strong experience originating from the nuclear operations sector, which has been progressively expanded with expertise in safety, engineering, supportability, complex project management, as well as C4I2, digital and cyber solutions.
As Alan Skinner, Director at RB Safety Consultants, explains, the company’s growth has been driven above all by the expertise and commitment of its teams:
“RBSC was established in 2007 and has grown from a team of three to just over one hundred employees over that time. Our strength lies in a team of experts with extensive experience in high-hazard industries.”
Working on complex projects across the United Kingdom, RBSC supports its clients in the delivery and safety assurance of strategic programmes in highly demanding industrial environments.
A strategic and human partnership
The integration of RB Safety Consultants is fully aligned with the moOngy Group’s development strategy, which aims to build a strong ecosystem of expertise capable of supporting major industrial and technological projects.
As Stéphan Graziani, Development Director of the moOngy Group, highlights, the operation is based both on strategic alignment and on a strong human connection.
“As is often the case with our acquisitions, two elements were decisive. First, the strategic value of RB Safety Consultants’ positioning in high value-added services, particularly in the civil and military nuclear sectors. Secondly, the meeting with leaders and teams with whom we felt an immediate connection, sharing a common entrepreneurial vision.”
Beyond technical expertise, the mindset of the RBSC team also played a key role in the decision.
“RB Safety Consultants brings together passionate, curious and committed experts who share a strong willingness to continue learning, innovating and developing their activities. This culture of excellence strongly resonates with the DNA of the moOngy Group.”
A new step in moOngy’s development in the United Kingdom
With this acquisition, moOngy strengthens its presence in the UK market, which is particularly dynamic in the energy, nuclear and defence sectors.
“The arrival of RB Safety Consultants represents an important step in moOngy’s development in the United Kingdom,” explains Stéphan Graziani. “The UK market offers strong potential but also remains demanding and complex for international players. Integrating RBSC allows us to rely on experienced leaders with a deep understanding of the local ecosystem.”
In the longer term, this presence could also open up new international opportunities.
“Our presence in the United Kingdom could also facilitate access to the North American market, given the close links between British and American industrial ecosystems.”
For its part, RBSC sees this partnership as an opportunity to actively contribute to the Group’s expansion in the region.
“We are particularly excited to contribute to moOngy’s ambition to establish a strong footprint in the UK.” says Alan Skinner. “Our reputation has been built over nearly two decades through the delivery of complex projects in highly regulated industries.”
Immediate synergies supporting critical industrial projects
The integration of RB Safety Consultants strengthens the moOngy Group’s expertise in the nuclear sector and in critical industrial environments.
“This acquisition significantly reinforces our expertise in the nuclear sector, complementing the already well-established activities within agap2,” explains Stéphan Graziani.“It enables us to broaden our ability to support major industry players, from strategic advisory through to operational project delivery.”
Several areas of collaboration have already been identified between RBSC and the Group’s companies, including:
- sharing technical expertise, particularly in nuclear safety and complex project management
- access to new markets and clients through the respective networks of the different entities
- mobilising the Group’s talent on international projects
For RBSC, the first development opportunities have already been identified within the UK market.
“Civil nuclear and technical project management represent immediate opportunities in the United Kingdom.” explains Alan Skinner. “This collaboration could also open up new prospects in other areas of the Group, particularly around digital capabilities.”
A new chapter for the teams
Beyond the strategic dimension, this integration also opens new perspectives for employees across both organisations.
“This collaboration gives our teams the opportunity to work on new international projects, particularly in the UK, while developing their expertise in strategic sectors such as nuclear and defence.” says Stéphan Graziani.
For RBSC, joining moOngy also represents an accelerator for growth.
“Joining the moOngy Group will allow us to continue our growth, strengthen our resilience and create even more opportunities for every member of our team.” concludes Alan Skin
