Luan, 21, a rising star in para-triathlon, embodies resilience and determination. Discovered as a handisport swimmer from the age of 6, Luan won the bronze medal at the French small pool championships in 2019. Despite suffering from Ewing’s Sarcoma at the age of 7, she chose swimming on the advice of her doctor. Spotted by her PE teacher, she joined the Centre Fédéral Handisport at the Creps in Bordeaux. Luan, with her strong character, is diligently preparing for her ambitious challenge: taking part in the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games in para-triathlon. Her passion and unshakeable determination are propelling her towards realising her Olympic dream.
